How do I set up a printer? |
To set up a printer, complete the following steps.
Step 1. For standard and bar code printers, verify that the following tabs on the System Management -> Setup -> Printers -> Standard Printer Types screen define the type of printer, including the printer control codes.

Standard printers: Printer Setup tab.

Bar code printers: Bar Code Printers tab. (To use bar codes, the optional Bar Code Module, Mobile Software must be installed. See the related documentation for these products.)
Step 2. For label printers, verify that the Data -> System Management -> Printers -> Label Printer Types screen defines the type of printer.
Step 3. Define the printer device and queue information on the System Management -> Setup -> Printers -> Printer Devices/Queues screen.
